The view from the room overlooking the lake and château is genuinely fine.
The decor in the room was old, and the furnishings felt quite tired, detracting from the aesthetic appeal. The absence of air conditioning made sleeping uncomfortable during the warm evenings. I found the bathroom lacking in basic toiletries, which I felt should be standard in any hotel.

the location was stunning and lovely, just 5 min walk from a medieval castle. this hotel was in a pretty quiet area. the restaurant was excellent for the dinner and the breakfast, i tried tasty dishes. the bed was comfy and an electric kettle, central heating and television were a bonus.

Great hotel. It is quite small, comfortable and clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant location for visiting the castle. Booked a triple room and requested an additional bed, however the room had two double beds, plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids so didn't require the additional bed.

A lovely, small 'proper' French hotel. The lady at reception in the evening was delightful and most helpful. Our room had an excellent view of the castle. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of selection. Situated right in the centre of the town - could not be bettered!!

We had a braw time! The view from our room of the lake and castle was pure magic. The staff were ever so friendly, going above and beyond for us. Only downside was the old stairs – not great for the weary. Still, I'll be back for sure!

It's a very smart but I think soulless hostel. We knew of the hotel through another source - you happened to be a convenient route to book our room.

Its proximity to the chateau and the beautiful town - overlooking the lake
Single room was ok but skylight style window horrid

The view from the first-floor room looking out over the lake and château is genuinely fine and adds a lot of charm to the stay. Breakfast offers a great variety, with excellent pastries and a refreshing fruit salad.
Unfortunately, the room decor shows some wear and tear, with some tired furnishings that detract from the overall experience. The bathroom featured unfinished elements like laminate flooring.

The hotel was very clean and secure. The location was perfect overlooking the lake and Pierrefonds Castle. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
It was a shame the restaurant was not open in the evenings but the village had a supply of reasonably priced restaurants to suit most tastes. The breakfast was very basic and availability of all items differed each day.

The view from the room overlooking the fine castle and lake was a true highlight. The restaurant offered an imaginative menu with locally sourced ingredients, particularly impressed by the gyu-don dishes. The firmness of the bed might not suit everyone's preference.
